Richards Bay add two more signings in busy window

Richards Bay have completed the signing of two more players as the overhaul of their squad under coach Ronnie Gabriel continues.

Winger Philani Sithebe arrived from fellow KwaZulu-Natal side Lamontville Golden Arrows having been barely used by Abafana Bes’thende in the last 18 months. Before that he was with Royal AM.

The 24-year-old has made 10 career appearances as a professional and will now hope for regular first team football at Richards Bay.

Midfielder Khayelihle Mncube has also arrived from TS Galaxy as he too seeks to kick-start his career.

He made his Rockets debut in May 2025 and has four professional appearances to his name since.

The pair join Siyabonga Gumede (Kaizer Chiefs), Siphamandla Gwele, Nhlakanipho Ngcobo (both Ravens), Thamsanqa Ndelu (Mkhambathi) and Nqaba Xulu (Milford FC) as new signings at the club.
